Allison Brower, Au.D. is a California state and ASHA (American Speech and Hearing Association) licensed audiologist who received her Masters degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida. She received her Audiology fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital in Denver, CO where she served as a diagnostic and cochlear implant audiologist, as well as the program director of the newborn hearing screening program. Dr. Brower’s passion for early identification and intervention of hearing loss in children inspired her to accept a position at the National Acoustic Laboratories (NAL) in Sydney, Australia. Whilst at NAL, she served as a pediatric research audiologist on the Longitudinal Outcomes of Children with Hearing Impairment (LOCHI) study led by Dr Teresa Ching. Back in the United States, Dr. Brower is excited to be residing in California and to be a part of the team at the California Ear Institute. She serves as one of the clinic’s cochlear implant audiologist for adults and pediatrics, as well as sees patients for diagnostic evaluations and hearing device patients of all ages.
